How to Restore a Page From A Past Save Point (Via The NETSIMPLE Dashboard):

Overview: This guide will walk you through how to restore a page to a previous version, this is ideal if you have made so many changes and feel you would rather revert back to a previous version of your page.

Note 1: This only applies to each individual page its enabled on.

Note 2: Our system saves a version of your page from every save making it easier to pin point and restore to a specific point you may need to revert back to.

Getting Started: How to Restore a Page From A Past Save Point

1. While on the Dashboard, select the "Content" module on the left-hand side of your screen.

2. Next, in the dropdown menu select the "Page" option.

3. This will open the "Page" window where you can create, edit, delete, or clone previous pages on your website. You can also restore a past save point here.

4. While on the "Pages" window select the blue "Options" button on the right hand side of the page you would like to edit.

5. Next, select the "Version Control" option.

6. This will prompt you with a lengthy list of ever save point to date of a page in our system.

Note: This will only pull up a saving point from the page in question, this is not a global save point for the entire site.

7. You will be prompted with three options, two of which will pertain to an everyday user.

A. Preview - Selecting this option for a specific date/time will open a new tab with that save point.

B. Compare with Current - This is for advanced users who can understand HTML. (Disregard if you are a beginner)

C. Publish - Once you find a version of the page you wish to restore, you can select the "Publish" button to revert back to that save point and this will now be the live version displayed on your site.

Very Important: If you do publish a pervious version while the Visual Builder or HTML Editor is open, please be sure to refresh both the Visual Builder and or HTML Editor after publishing the previous version to avoid overwriting the new publishing. Once refreshed the Visual Builder and HTML editor will take on the version control save point published.

Continued - If you do not refresh the Visual Builder or the HTML Editor (if open) and then resave either of those editing tabs and publish then the changes published form the version control update will not display ton the live site.

Conclusion: If you would like to use the version control option, close down the visual builder and or HTML Editor prior and reopen after you publish a past saved version to avoid conflicting coding.
